De-pathologizing Pedophilia

I’m just going to present information without commentary.

Sexual orientation defined by the APA (American Psychological Association) Dictionary of Psychology:

one’s enduring sexual attraction to male partners, female partners, or both. Sexual orientation may be heterosexual, same sex (gay or lesbian), or bisexual. See also OBJECT CHOICE.

According to Psychology Dictionary, object choice is:

with regard to psychoanalytic theory, the choosing of an individual toward whom libido or psychic energy is directed or pulled.

OBJECT CHOICE: “Every time someone approaches another person with the intent of physical or romantic contact with them, object choice is inferred.”

The American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) refers to pedophilia as a sexual orientation towards prepubescent children and only considers it to be a disorder if the person feels distress about it and/or acts upon his feelings.

Ray Blanchard, Ph.D. (sexologist) served as the Chair of the Paraphilias Subworkgroup for DSM-5 and had this to say about the rejection of his recommendations to include hebephilia under pedophilic disorder (pedophilia in DSM-4):

Resistance came from various quarters, including people who wanted all paraphilias removed from the DSM, hebephiles who opposed the explicit listing of hebephilia as a mental disorder, and forensic psychologists and psychiatrists who viewed all proposed changes in clinical diagnosis in terms of their anticipated (or fantasized) consequences in the courtroom.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

You can read the whole thing HERE, but he concludes with the following statement:

It seems to me that there are only two possibilities. If the [Board of Trustees] denies that it meant to assert that the sexual preference for children in early puberty is normal, then it has to allow the diagnosis of ‘‘other specified paraphilic disorder (hebephilia).’’ If the BOT, or someone officially speaking on behalf of the BOT or the whole APA, states or testifies that the BOT intended to prohibit the diagnosis of ‘‘other specified paraphilic disorder (hebephilia),’’ then that is tantamount to stating that the APA’s official position is that the sexual preference for early pubertal children is normal.

Hebephilia (sexual attraction to early pubertal children) is not included in the DSM 5.

Sex Assignment? Part Two

Screen Shot 2018-03-31 at 9.44.33 AM

Rigby is trying so hard. He knows this is going to be a difficult fight. And, of course, he has to use intersex people. The man has no shame. Does he not realize that if we cannot acknowledge the basic reality of [biological] sex, then there is no such thing as intersex and therefore the struggles such individuals face because of their condition are not real?

Screen Shot 2018-03-31 at 11.30.16 AM

I’ve pointed this out already in Sex Assignment? Part One–the medical and scientific communities don’t regularly use the term “biological sex” because it is redundant. They just use sex. It is understood that sex is biological unless one is using the word in reference to the reproductive act of intercourse. The only time they use the term “sex assigned at birth” is in specific reference to transgender people or intersex people. In reality, only intersex people (those of indeterminate sex) will ever truly experience what it is to have a sex assigned to them.

Sex is binary because there are only two kinds of sex cells (gametes). There are ova and there are sperm. There isn’t a third kind of gamete that’s a mix of the two. There are just two. Everything we understand about [biological] sex starts at the gamete. It is because we have this understanding that we are able to diagnose intersex conditions, or disorders of sexual development.

There’s no such thing as “hormonal sex.” A woman with higher than average testosterone levels is still a woman. A man taking estrogen is still a man. We do not use hormone levels to understand what sex a person is unless it is in the context of someone with a disorder of sexual development whose sex is currently indeterminate.

There’s no such thing as “brain sex.” Every cell in a man’s brain is XY. It doesn’t matter if some structures are larger or smaller or thicker or thinner than the average man’s brain structures. It’s still the brain of a male person. There is no gender center in the brain, and thanks to the plasticity of the brain (neuroplasticity), structures can change over time due to thoughts, actions, experiences, trauma, etc. Because of this, no scientist will say that people are born transgender. They don’t have the data to prove such a thing.

Recognizing that transgender people experience gender dysphoria (a psychological disconnect with or rejection of their ACTUAL PHYSICAL REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM) does not delegitimize them. Rigby is attempting to manipulate people using lies and shame.

RELATED: How to lie to kids about what it means to be a boy or a girl

Gavin Grimm is a girl. She was conceived female, born female, named Caitlyn Hope, raised female until the age of 14, and then as a teenager she decided that she “feels like a boy” and therefore the entire world must treat her like one.

Does this delegitimize Gavin? No. She is a person–a human being. Her life is valuable. And it is made no less valuable by people recognizing her sex and not recognizing her “gender identity.” It’s always a choice being presented to people: recognize feelings over biology or biology over feelings. It is only people like you, Rigby, who have decided that only one of those choices is legitimate. I choose not to reject Gavin’s natural body whereas you do, Rigby. Feelings change over time. The many stories of gender dysphoric people who have de-transitioned prove this is true. Sex, however, does not change. It is a recognizable and immutable biological fact.

Wrapping Your Brain Around Transgender Arguments: Don’t Even Try

“Sex (male and female) is a meaningless construct, but gender identity is an internal biological trait.”

This, in a nutshell, is what Fairfax County’s FLECAC voted to teach all the FCPS K-12 students.

Lawyer Dan actually said:

Biological sex is essentially meaningless.

He went on to argue that gender identity is in fact what is biological and real:

There’s physical attributes … psychology of the brain, structure of the brain, activities that are all biological, and there’s nothing non-biological about being transgender.

And here we have Everyday Feminism’s Riley J. Dennis transplaining things for us:

According to the HRC’s Welcoming Schools’ definition list: “gender is a person’s internal sense of self as male, female, both or neither.” Interestingly enough, the list does NOT have a definition for male nor for female.

Now, get ready for nausea because the cognitive dissonance will leave your head spinning.

FCPS Pride’s leader Robert Rigby, who likes to quote Welcoming Schools, advises several FLECAC voting members on LGBT-related issues, and here is what he says, but with their new meanings in place instead of the terms.

“Meaningless construct assigned at birth” is used in the sense “trans-internal-sense-of-a-meaningless-construct people are people whose internal biological trait does not align with their meaningless social construct” and in wider references. That is, for each of us, when we are born, the doctor determines (assigns) a meaningless construct for us, and that is what is put on our birth certificates, and generally is how people think of us until we are old enough to express our own internal biological trait. Cis-internal-sense-of-a-meaningless-construct are people whose internal biological trait aligns with their meaningless construct assigned at birth, and trans-internal-sense-of-a-meaningless-construct is an umbrella term for people whom the two do not align perfectly.

ALIGN WITH WHAT?

If biological sex is a meaningless term because it is a false binary social construct of a fluid spectrum, then what exactly is being ALIGNED?

What are female feelings? What are female thoughts? Female expressions? Female behaviors? Female desires?

Who knows?! Female is essentially meaningless, remember?

Now, to top off your confusion with a steaming pile of bovine manure, we’ve got Welcoming Schools giving definitions for kids that teaches them that sexuality = love, which implies that if they love a friend of the same sex that means they are gay (because kids don’t know any different without an understanding of what sexuality actually is.)

I’ve said it before, and I’m gonna say it again:

PERVERTS

Why can’t we talk with kids about our sexual attractions?

Sometimes you have to read between the lines, and other times the message is right there for you in black and white:

Screen Shot 2018-03-30 at 5.27.22 PM

Sexual ideologues such as Equality Loudoun genuinely believe that adults have an inherent right to discuss their sexuality with other people’s prepubescent kids.

There’s a good reason parents are given the option to opt their children out of Family Life Education classes that discuss issues like sexuality and sexual attraction, and if these radical ideologues had their way, adults’ sexuality would be discussed in school whenever and by whoever.

The lawyer for the teacher in question has denied that she believes she has a right to talk about sexuality with students.

Kareah Wakeland, a parent of three children who were former students of the teacher, sought to reassure people, and in doing so made some revealing statements:

She’s not forming a gay club in an elementary school, she’s trying to teach kindergartners about Vincent van Gogh. I don’t think she has time to make them all gay, nor does she have an interest in doing so.

Obviously there is community concern that there are teachers who would seek to form a “gay club” and influence the sexuality of developing children. Remember, Fairfax County FLE curriculum states that sexuality is something that EVOLVES throughout a person’s life from infancy to old age. If this is true, then that means externalities (environment, exposure, etc.) can affect a person’s sexuality and behaviors.

Just look at Fairfax County. They created new protected classes, and now they have teachers openly and actively pushing to indoctrinate children into a sick anti-science ideology.

According to an official statement from the school, the teacher was suspended based on allegations that she shared info about her sexuality–she is in a lesbian relationship–and the sexuality of other individuals, rather than simply “because she is gay.”

How to Lie to Kids About What It Means to Be a Boy or a Girl

At some point, you’ll become “red pilled” and realize there’s no reasoning with these people. They are like cult members who TRULY BELIEVE what garbage it is they are preaching. And they want to convert children. Children are malleable, impressionable, and easily brainwashed.

GET ‘EM WHILE THEY’RE YOUNG

Screen Shot 2018-03-29 at 2.49.43 PM

“Look, kids, there’s a medicine that you can take that can turn you from a boy into a girl!”

Can you imagine how a child might think about that later when he has to take medicine for an illness. “Mom, will this change me into a girl?”

It’s such a lie. Medicine can’t change a male into a female. Hormones can’t do it either, especially after the point in fetal development where the reproductive system has become recognizable.

Rigby’s latest dumb post:

Screen Shot 2018-03-29 at 2.46.48 PM

This is so stupid.

Kid: “Hey, is your dog a boy or a girl?”

FCPS Pride (Robert Rigby): “I don’t know–my dog can’t tell me.”

Kid squats down and looks between the dog’s legs. “It’s a boy.”

There’s no use in trying to reason with people like this. There can be no rational debate: the words “boy” and “girl” are now meaningless–reduced to stereotypes, which still rely on an understanding of biological sex, which these very same people claim is meaningless.

Are you confused yet? That’s the end goal–confuse your mind and then try to manipulate your emotions through a variety of tactics so that you give them what they demand. Don’t let yourself be pulled into their Orwellian language distortions and manipulation attempts.

Unofficial change in LCPS hiring policy? UPDATED

Update (19 April 2018): Apparently DiversityInEd was posting the general non-discrimination policy for clients particularly associated with an online job fair that was held on April 11th.  Although I did call it to LCPS school board members’ attention twice, nothing was done about it.  An email was sent to the LCPS supervisor for recruitment, and she promptly responded:

I appreciate and your concern.  LCPS participated in a Virtual Job Fair on April 11 with DiversityinEd.com.  As part of the fair, DiversityinEd.com selected a number of LCPS job postings and added their own non-discrimination language instead of using our posting language.   It appears that DiversityinEd.com did the same for other participating school divisions.  We have been in contact with DiversityinEd and have asked them to correct this error.

I called DiversityinEd to figure out why they were tacking on this policy (they’re out of Texas, mind you). I explained that this was setting up a liability situation for those school districts whose nondiscrimination policies do not take into consideration “gender identity or expression” (what a ridiculously amorphous concept, I cannot say it enough). It really does open them up to lawsuits since it sounds like legal language:

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to…

I was told that the company would start communicating better with their clients about their districts’ specific nondiscrimination policies. I was glad to hear this–anything to save taxpayers from having to fund an expensive civil rights lawsuit–but I cannot help but wonder why I had to do this leg work in the first place…

Loudoun County Public Schools (or someone acting in their name) pays for an employer account at DIVERSITY in Ed and currently has over a dozen listings.

What caught my eye was the last paragraph featured on every job listing that appears to be in direct conflict to the nondiscrimination policy approved by the board last year.

Here is the official LCPS policy:

Screen Shot 2018-03-07 at 12.31.12 AM

But notice what is changed/added to the DIVERSITY In Ed listing:

Screen Shot 2018-03-27 at 7.40.40 PM

  • affirmative action/ added to equal opportunity employer
  • removed any mention of adherence to federal and state law
  • sex changed to gender
  • gender identity or expression and sexual orientation added to the statement

Employer accounts are not free–either a private person is paying for a fake LCPS account or taxpayers are covering the fee. Clearly someone is posting these listings in direct contradiction to the school board’s stated policy. And it was a recent posting:

Screen Shot 2018-03-27 at 7.47.21 PM

Two days ago.

I notified a school board member who is looking into the situation.

Update: This looks to be a new practice. A job posting from 24 days ago has nothing about LCPS hiring policies:

Screen Shot 2018-03-27 at 9.15.07 PM

So, who posted the job listings on March 25, 2018? And why add an altered hiring policy? Was it a new requirement of the website? It is not a requirement of the Diversity in Ed recruitment site. Or is someone trying to instigate a lawsuit on LCPS?

Sex Assignment? Part One

Well, if you’re gonna lie, you might as well go big or go home:

I’m gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he isn’t delusional and making things up…which means he’s lying.

Let’s look at the Journal of the American Medical Association:

Heh, look at that. Could it be that they only use the nonsensical phrase “sex assigned at birth” when talking about transgender individuals so as not to cause offense to wealthy and politically-connected LGBT activists?

American Academy of Pediatrics:

They don’t seem to be cooperating with you, Mr. Rigby.

How about the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics:

Screen Shot 2018-03-26 at 2.21.04 PMScreen Shot 2018-03-26 at 2.20.33 PM

Look at that–did you notice that none of them bothered to put “biological” in front of sex? You know why? It’s redundant.

Let’s just Google it:

Biology Online:

Screen Shot 2018-03-26 at 3.11.54 PM

Geez, why aren’t they saying anything about “assignment”? Could it perhaps be because there is no assignment happening when it comes to observing and recording the [biological] sex of mammals?

And OF COURSE the American Psychological Association is going to use the “assigned at birth” terminology. They’re psychologists who deal with psychological conditions only. There’s a reason they can’t prescribe so much as an NSAID. They believe sex is determined by the cerebral cortex. They believe a penis can be a female organ. It’s a good thing they haven’t got the ability to write scripts. They’re Idealists.

Sex is not assigned in over 99.9% of individuals. It is just recorded. Just because someone has a disorder of sexual development (DSD) does not mean they do not have an observable sex. For those who have true intersex conditions where sex cannot be determined–then it is true that doctors and parents may “assign” a sex based on the best information available to them about the genetic and physical conditions of the child. But that has NOTHING to do with gender dysphoria or gender non-conformity in those born with a normal genotype and phenotype.

RELATED: What is sex?

People living with intersex conditions are NOT your shield, Mr. Rigby. Leave them out of this debate. Their existence does not in any way, shape or form justify your anti-biology sexual ideology that you are trying to push on Fairfax County kids. STOP LYING and STOP USING INTERSEX PEOPLE. And I’m gonna say the same thing to Lawyer Dan–just because you might lie in a courtroom that doesn’t mean you have the right to promote falsehood to children.

Oh, and have you told your followers about the horrific experiments and surgeries conducted on intersex children thanks to the work of Dr. John Money, the sex pervert psychologist and originator of “gender identity” itself?

Of course not.

Update: And Mr. Rigby confirms it: this isn’t about science–this is about promoting the gender identity ideology.

Flesh-eating Little Shop of Horrors: I Am Jazz and the Fairfax County School Board

I am finding it difficult to come up with words to express how I feel right now. I finished watching a “teaser” for the upcoming season of TLC’s I Am Jazz, and then I came across the gender identity policy that the Fairfax County School Board (FCSB) is trying to reimplement.

What’s happening to Jazz is sexual abuse. There’s no other label for it that encompasses what his parents and doctors have done and are planning to do to him.

I wanted to put my fist through the computer screen. My heart is heavy today. It really set the mood for when I began to read the policy linked above.

What really struck me is how badly the FCSB and Virginia LGBT activists want to encourage children onto this path of lifelong pharmaceutical (and quite possibly surgical) dependency. Nearly all children set on the path of “gender affirmation” continue on to take puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones. Too many female teenagers go on to have elective mastectomies.

The approach that the FCSB is taking is to presume that all students who claim to be transgender or gender non-conforming ARE, and therefore without “credible evidence” to the contrary, must be affirmed:

Screen Shot 2018-03-25 at 11.37.38 AM

Here’s the problem–what almost ALWAYS happens is this one-way track:

Step 1: Social transition (names, pronouns, gender affirmation)

Step 2: Puberty blockers

Step 3: Cross-sex hormones (must be taken for the rest of their lives)

Step 4: Surgery (increasingly likely but not a guarantee), especially mastectomies (for females) and breast implants (for males). Surgery on the reproductive organs generally involves permanent sterilization, although years of puberty blockers and then cross-sex hormones will often render people infertile anyway.

Step 5: Legal recognition as the opposite sex if sex-reassignment surgery was performed as required by Virginia state law to change one’s sex on his or her birth certificate to the opposite observed at birth.

RELATED: Could social transition increase persistence rates in “trans” kids?

What’s also disturbing is FCBS’ inclusion of “gender non-conforming status.” EVERYONE is gender non-conforming to some degree, but generally it doesn’t become an actual protected status that makes one entitled to access opposite-sex spaces. There doesn’t appear to be any real litmus test for determining who is a gender non-conformist worthy of using opposite-sex spaces and who is just a regular ol’ girl who likes to play football and doesn’t like to wear dresses.

In addition, they advocate throwing the rest of the children (those who are able to cope with their biological sex) under the bus. They advocate deceiving students and their parents and forcing students to seek other accommodations for privacy if they discover one of their peers in the locker room is actually of the opposite sex.

Screen Shot 2018-03-25 at 11.34.40 AM

Did you all notice letter C? Not only can a “gender non-conforming” or “transgender” student use the facilities of the opposite sex, but they can also use the facilities of their natal sex. This sounds like special privileges, not protections, to me.

Now girls can join boys in their sex-segregated sexually explicit FLE classes, and vice versa:

Screen Shot 2018-03-25 at 11.35.04 AM

And here come the policies that instruct adults to deceive students and their parents while also requiring students to accommodate those of the opposite-sex in facilities specially designated for taking care of private bodily needs, undressing, and showering:

Screen Shot 2018-03-25 at 11.34.49 AM

And say good-bye to Title IX protections. Now girls can’t expect to participate in female athletics that 1. don’t allow males to compete against them or take their spots on teams and 2. prevent females on testosterone from participating:

Screen Shot 2018-03-25 at 11.35.26 AM

Who are you people that are advocating for these policies? What is wrong with you? Who are you people that celebrate the “transitioning” of minors like Jazz? How can you watch the I Am Jazz preview above and not be horrified? HE IS JUST A KID! They’re ALL just kids!

What you can do:

  • Contact the media, including sending “Letters to the Editor,” to tell them to stop ignoring this assault on the rights of students who do not identify as gender non-conforming or transgender.
  • Contact the Fairfax County School Board to advocate the protection of ALL students’ rights–including those who do not identify as gender non-conforming or transgender. You can even send them a Tweet: @RyanLMcElveen @Kaufax4Schools @Keys_Gamarra @Karen4Schools @SullySupervisor @Moon4Schools @Megan4Schools @janiestrauss @VotePatHynes @DaliaPalchik
  • Support the partnership between Family Policy Alliance and Women’s Liberation Front to combat the use of “gender identity” that strips the sex protections afforded by Title IX.
  • Sign the petition to FCSB calling for them to protect the rights of all students.

In Pursuit of Womanhood: Progressives’ War Against Women in Virginia

For years now, LGBT activists have pursued changes to Virginia’s birth certificate law.

In 2015, Equality Virginia filed a petition to amend the law:

The petitioner requests that the Vital Records regulations be amended as follows:

Virginia’s birth certificate gender change regulation should not require surgery, based on a modern understanding of appropriate treatment for transgender people.

Virginia’s birth certificate gender change regulation should not require a court order, as courts are a costly and complicated barrier to many transgender people, and medical providers, rather than judges, have the professional expertise to request the appropriate gender marker on a birth certificate.

The way the laws stands currently (and has for decades), a person can amend the sex listed on their birth certificate only by having a medical procedure (sex-reassignment surgery) and presenting documentation of of said procedure to a court judge (VA Code § 32.1-269 E.).

Activists claim that this is too burdensome in both effort and cost. They claim that people should be able to change the sex on their birth certificate even if they still have the genitals of their birth sex.

Remember, they believe biological sex itself is a social construct.

Screen Shot 2018-03-21 at 7.13.07 PM

Screen Shot 2018-03-21 at 7.17.11 PM

A birth certificate is a “snapshot” in time: it records a person’s sex, given name and their biological parents. Unless a person has a serious intersex disorder (described in VA Code § 32.1-269 B.), it is presumed that medical doctors have enough training to easily determine the sex of a child based on what reproductive system it appears that he or she has.

Sex, in mammals, is immutable. This is scientific fact. It’s not an “arbitrary academic construct” nor is it a “social construct.” It is not assigned. It is observed, described and recorded. Every biologist and medical doctor acknowledges this.

Dr. John Money, a psychopathic and pedophiliac psychologist, concocted the concept of “gender identity” in the mid 1950s. His theory was that you could manipulate a person’s gender identity (how they thought of themselves) through transformation of the body and forcing adherence to sex-based stereotypes. His theory was proven wrong when a patient he had experimented on throughout his childhood resisted the attempts to “turn him into a girl.” Both the patient and his twin brother (who had also been involved in Dr. Money’s incestuous pedophiliac gender experiments) committed suicide as adults.  However, Money’s theory that “gender identity” was an actual thing separate from sex remained.

At the last Fairfax County FLECAC meeting, Lawyer Dan argued that biological sex/gender were inaccurate terms. That all the respected medical communities used “sex assigned at birth.” This is utter rubbish, of course. But, assuming he is correct, then a birth certificate is simply a vital record that describes the condition in which a person was born–it doesn’t describe how a person will identify. It does not record gender identity–how could it?

In one of the most convoluted court rulings I have ever seen, a judge recently ruled, for all intents and purposes, that gender identity determines what a person is as opposed to his or her sex.

Anyway, back to the Equality Virginia petition. Notice, they didn’t try to go through the appropriate process: legislation. Instead, they tried (and subsequently failed) to go through Terry McAuliffe’s Leftist executive branch of government. Equality Virginia urged all their supporters to take part in an online townhall comment period. What’s clear is that all the supporters believe that boys and men should be able to self-ID their way into womanhood. Being female no longer has anything to do with being a woman.

We need to respect the rights of an individual to self-identify…

Apparently, being able to father children is a mark of womanhood:

Because gender confirmation surgery results in sterilization, the reproductive rights of transgender individuals are sacrificed uneccesarily in order for their actual gender to be acknowledged by the state

But when you ask such people what womanhood does mean, and what exactly is a woman, do you know what answer you’ll get?

“A woman is someone who identifies as a woman.”

I’m not kidding.

It’s a mad world, my friends. The petition failed because:

The Board of Health does not have statutory authority to amend the Regulations Governing Vital Records (12VAC5—550) as requested by the petitioner.  Section 32.1-269(E) of the Code of Virginia states as follows: “Upon receipt of a certified copy of an order of a court of competent jurisdiction indicating that the sex of an individual has been changed by medical procedure and upon request of such person, the State Registrar shall amend such person’s certificate of birth to show the change of sex and, if a certified copy of a court order changing the person’s name is submitted, to show a new name.”  Given this current statutory requirement, legislation would need to be enacted authorizing the Board of Health to amend the regulations as requested.

So, armed with gender ideologues in the House of Delegates, activists sought to pass legislation that would change Virginia law: HB 407.

It failed, praise God.

RELATED: How progressive men shut down women’s concerns

But these people are relentless. They’re gonna try again next year, guaranteed, and they’re going to work hard to get more gender ideologues (read: Democrats) elected to the House of Delegates.

The #WarOnWomen is being conducted by Democrats.
